Trickster theatre was founded in 2004 by Maria Litvinova  and Vyacheslav Ignatov as a family private theatre company. By now we have  produced 8 shows , most of them are being performed on  regular base in Moscow. We were awarded with two “Golden Mask” prizes in 2010 and 2016

 

We are official members of the Association of Theatre workers in Russia 

 

Our performances and projects often take part in theater festivals around the world, including France, Germany, Austria, the UK, Azerbaijan and Pakistan.

 

we always focus on the visual part. And we create the action using various visual effects. We move from form to content. Each performance is unique in its form and we never stop experimenting with different technologies and materials.

Our audience is of a broad range: from 7 years up. When we make performances for children, we create a theatre product for the pleasure of both – kids and parents. Our performances are fairy-tales not only for children. We believe it is important to talk to children in an adult way. It makes us happy when adults enjoy and get affected by our performances as much as the children do.

Besides directing and performing activity we also give workshops for children. 

 

We also work as theatre directors in big state theatres. We make puppet shows, dramas and operas.

The last few years we’ve been collaborating with European partners. We have 3 performances which we made in co-production with theatre companies in Germany and the UK.
